Quality Policy

We are constantly developing our research and manufacturing capacity in order to produce reliable, high-quality medications that remain reasonably priced.

We obtained ISO-9001 certification in 1998 as part of the expansion of our quality control system, issued by the British SGS Yarsley International Certification Services company. We do our utmost to respect without fail the recommendations of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and the relevant laws concerning pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Meditop has been audited several times both by our partners and the authorities; every time, they have acknowledged that our company fulfils international quality requirements. We are constantly developing our quality control system.

Our company – as a pharmaceutical manufacturer – places particular emphasis on the protection of environmental values, since Meditop is located in one of Hungary's most beautiful regions. Recognising the importance of resolving general environmental problems, we have bound ourselves not only to the respect of legal requirements for the protection of the environment, standard norms and official engagements concerning our activities and products, but also to preventing environmental pollution and the continuous improvement of the immediate working environment.

We obtained ISO-14001 certification in 1999 for our environmental management system, thus becoming the first pharmaceutical company operating in Hungary to have both that and the ISO-9001 certificates.

We aim to preserve the health of the population through our products. We achieve this through a manufacturing culture that ensures a harmonious relationship with the natural environment and the community that has given us a home.
